Its about the Collection

Hi, I’m Jacob Andries Ndolu, 34 years old. I stay in Kupang, a small town in the south coast of Timor- Indonesia. I am an illustrator. My hobby to toy soldier start when I was a kid. I had many of them at that time, and most of them was 1/32 AIRFIX. My favorite’s soldier was German Infantry, US Marine, US Paratroopers and Japanese Infantry and The British Paratroopers. And all of them are in the WW II era. I remember we played them at school, bed room, living room and many places.
When we grow up, they sum just decrease one by one, including their plastic vehicle until they realy disappear from my room. Several years ago, in my 30 age, I found one of my US Marine and he just opens my memories of them. He rose up my interest of toy soldier, and I start to hunt them again.
I walked in to the same toy shop that usually sells them, but the owner said that they didn’t sell this soldier for a long time. Today I hunt for it day by day but I just get nothing, even for their copy/recast (made in china –imitation).
The Airfix shows here are what I get from my family and relatives who stay in Holland (1/32 construction Airfix) and Australia (1/72 Airfix). I do paint them myself carefully. Now, I still looking for the same plastic toy soldier I ever had (1/32 Airfix). So, please let me know if you have them or if you have the intention to donate them; any comment and information, please contact me at : dryer_jacob@hotmail.com
